Who is responsible
Carles Mallafré Coderch (NIF 47778044Y), Carrer Camí Antic de Santa Creu d'Olorda 100, 08750 Molins de Rei, Barcelona, Spain, is the data controller. Contact: repovid.support@gmail.com.
What we collect
Your verified email and name from GitHub or Google, whether you’ve used your free run, and your payment status. RepoVid’s servers also process basic request data, such as IP addresses, to run the service and prevent abuse.
What we don’t collect
RepoVid records and renders on your machine. We don’t receive your code or demo passwords, and we only receive videos and guide text you choose to publish. Your card details go directly to Stripe. Whatever your AI agent reads is sent to the AI provider you chose, under your agreement with them.
Why we use it
To provide your account and licence, take payments, handle refunds and answer support requests. We don’t sell your data.
Legal basis
We process your data to perform our contract with you, to meet legal duties such as tax records, and for our legitimate interest in keeping the service secure and understanding how it’s used.
Who processes it
Cloudflare (website, stored videos and privacy-friendly visit statistics), Neon (database), Stripe (payments), and GitHub or Google (sign-in). Some are based in the United States, so your data may be transferred there under the safeguards they provide, such as standard contractual clauses.
Cookies
We use one essential cookie to keep you signed in. Our visit statistics use no cookies and don’t identify you, so there’s no cookie banner.
How long we keep it
Account data stays while your account exists. Published videos stay until you delete them or your plan ends and we remove them. Payment and tax records stay for as long as the law requires, usually up to six years.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to or export your data at repovid.support@gmail.com. If you’re unhappy with the answer, you can complain to the Spanish data protection authority (AEPD, aepd.es). Deleting a project or video removes its stored files. We keep payment records for as long as the law requires.
